Obi Best
After logging several years as a backup vocalist for the Bird and the Bee, singer/songwriter Alex Lilly launched her own indie pop project with Obi Best. The group's animated, quirky music took some cues from the Bird and the Bee, but Lilly's appreciation for Stereolab, the Cardigans, and delicate soundscapes also influenced the material. Lilly populated Obi Best's lineup with several musician friends and retreated to the studio, where the group recorded and digitally released Capades in 2008. A CD release followed in early 2009, coinciding with another tour alongside the Bird and the Bee.

Chauncey Jacks
Chauncey Jacks is an American singer-songwriter and has been rockin' the L.A. streets for two years with her eccentric vocals and deep lyrical style. She has been featured on MTV "The Hills", ABC's General Hospital, Samantha Who? and the roller derby film "Jam" released in 2008. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, there is no mistaking her West Coast influence. Jacks, a die hard California loyalist, often refers to her hometown in her songwriting, painting a vivid picture of life in the palm trees. She started writing and performing back in 2006 after making the staunch decision to pursue music and nothing else. Since then she has been prolific in writing incredibly soulful and striking songs. Jacks has been known to entertain many different faces in her songwriting. Whereas her solo songs tend to be influenced heavily by the music of the late 60's and 70's, the edge of The Pretenders and Bowie with deep and provocative lyrical content, her sweet side makes an appearance when singing with Duvid Swirsky in their band "MOONSTARS", a duet of melodic harmonies, down home lyrics and a no fuss attitude. Jacks' natural ability to translate many genre's and make them her own has been part of her acclaim. She is currently recording three different albums set to be released in November of 2009.

Coby Brown
LA based singer and songwriter Coby Brown has recently finished work on his second full length record, Stars & Curses. For Brown, who is a recent cancer survivor, the record is a victory lap. Says Brown, “I'm a lot clearer on what I want to do now and how I want to do it.” Produced by Will Golden (Meiko, Gary Jules), the record features guest turns from David Immergluck (Counting Crows), and Ollie Kraus (Sia, Tom McCrae) among others. Performing Songwriter calls it “…awash with atmosphere… all shimmer and seduction,” and Deli Magazine LA says”…Evokes "Mind Games" Lennon to the lighter side of My Morning Jacket.” Coby’s songs have been featured in many TV shows including, One Tree HillEverwood, and ABC’s Men in Trees, and he recently cowrote and recorded the credit track for director Rod Lurie’s “Nothing But the Truth”.

Fallbrooke
South Florida's Fallbrooke was originally started by Singer/Guitarist: Eric McNeely & Drummer/Singer: Kevin Schwarz in the summer of 2005. After several EP's and small shows, they independently produced and distributed their first album ("26 Seconds") in March 2007. Following the album's release, the band did small tours up the East Coast of the US throughout the spring and summer. They underwent several band member changes but gained their close friend, Augusto Vega on Bass and newest addition Chris Gustin on Guitar. Soon after, they were contacted by the founder of RMR Music Group; Paul Palmer (Trauma Records: Bush, No Doubt) who flew the band out immediately to Los Angeles after hearing a few songs. Fallbrooke signed with RMR in Winter 2007.

Moonstars is a duet with Duvid Swirsky and Chauncey Jacks. They began writing together in 2006 when Jacks originally needed a guitarist for her solo gig. Rory
My boyfriend's name is music... We've been going out for about three years now and it's getting pretty serious :) We've done a lot of crazy things together: touring high/middle schools across California, playing the six flags summer jam tour with Colby O'Donis and Mario, and singing at events for people like Gridlock, T-Mobile, and Cold Stone's... We've written songs with people like E-40 and Elan Atias and met tons of amazing people...

But recently, my BF got a major make-over, and in my opinion he's looking hotter than ever...  The Untitled follow-up to my '08 EP "Catch Me If You Can" is a fusion of original samples, children's toys, and indie-pop... Totally on my own, I've looked to friends and other like-minded artists for support.  I'm still in the honeymoon phase, writing, recording, and playing shows- I love my boyfriend's new look, and I hope that you do too!!
